Andrew Knights
Andrew Knights trained at the Westminster Medical School and qualified in 1981. He did house jobs in Weymouth and Poole before joining the Peterborough Vocational Training Scheme. He joined Thorney Medical Practice in 1985.
He is an approved GP trainer and is active in the VTS as a Group Discussion leader. He is also the Clinical Governance Lead for the Practice and is currently involved with the Collaborative Project.
His other practice responsibility is for dispensing - he liases with pharmaceutical companies on a regular basis.
He is married to Janet and they have three children - Laura, Charles and Toby.
Andrew is a Cub Scout leader in Thorney and is actively involved with Thorney Abbey church. He is LEA governor for the Duke of Bedford Primary School.
He is addicted to all outdoor pursuits - canoeing, walking, surfing ......
