off the main A47 in the heart of the village, Thorney Surgery opened in
1991. The surgery is the main administrative centre of the practice and also provides a base for
attached staff - the Health Visitor and District Nursing Staff. The surgery

Laurel Farm
Medical Centre was opened in 1985, it is opposite the Community Centre off
the High Street. The surgery serves about 3,800 patients - the busiest in

The two surgeries are linked by a fully integrated, networked computer system. This means that clinical notes are available for all patients in both surgeries. Patients may well be asked to travel to a surgery to make the best use of available doctor and nurse appointments.
